When it comes to design in general, I believe in form follows function. I look at every design project as a process of solving a problem.
I consider whether the main message is clear enough to read and understand, does it get enough attention than the rest of the texts/images?
Or whether a paragraph is eligible, is it clashing with the background, etc.
